Making a classic animation style

So me and my friends are making a pixel art game and it has been awesome. Unity is a great tool for developers, I love you. Recently I have been trying to animate a sword to follow a point on a character's hand and I am using the animation window to do so. The character is pre animated by me and is supposed to look classic. Meaning it looks very frame by frame and rough. When I animate the point though, it makes it very smooth and this does not look well with my character animation.

So how can I make it look more frame by frame and classic looking animation? I hope there is a quick and easy fix for this.

If you need a reference to what I mean by frame by frame animation, look up pixel art animated and you will find a lot of examples. Thanks!
