Android Testing On Unity Free HELP!
Ok, so I got the unity remote to work with the free version of unity and ive started on a project. So far i have a start menu working on my Inspire in test mode but i get no sound from the droid. I do have a sound file on the main menu looped on start up.
So my Question is that do you you have to compile the unity project into a .apk and then install it on the phone to hear sound on the droid or am i doing something wrong on unity remote?

Sorry. Im testing for the android while i save $400 to get the license. Unity Remote works on the free version while i save money. Question was. do i have to have the licensed version of unity android to hear audio on Unity remote or am i doing something wrong?
To my knowledge, I don't believe audio is ever transmitted to the remote, you should use your computer speakers to preview sound in-Editor.
Also, please do not post an answer as a reply, ins$$anonymous$$d use comments. This is the convention in Q&A portals like Unity Answers. Cheers!

In order to publish to Android you need to purchase an Android license ($400 for Unity Android Basic).
Unity Free only supports publishing to web and desktop PC/Mac.
Hope that helps.
