How do you get different parts of the same object to move in different ways?
That might be weird phrasing, so here's an example: I'm creating a wrestling ring, and the ropes should be more springy in the center, and more restrictive towards to post. How would I start making that happen? Is there any links anyone can refer me to?

There are a lot of tutorials out there for joints. Games use them for chains, etc. https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/class-ConfigurableJoint.html
