smooth follow camera too slow when dash
hi there friends!
Im making a 2d sidescroller where the player has a dash movement. I have a a smooth camera follow tha works perfectly when i walk or change direction. i mean , I like the speed the camera moves, and follows the player.
Now, when I run the camera follow obviously stays a little behind, and when the player dashes, it goes out of the camera view. Now if I change the camera smooth properties I can fix this issue, but the camera movement when I walk becomes to fast and rigid.
so I want to a different solution, maybe, a restriction of distance between camera and player, or change the smoothness automatically when I start to run.
Im new to game development. Any help would be apreciated!
