Adding texture to a mesh
I am trying to import a model into unity with textures - it's a model created by Dronedeploy. I can open the model in Blender or Meshlab with the texture - there's an .obj, .mtl and some jpgs in the folder.
I can import the .obj without textures. I can see the jpgs in the textures folder in Unity and drop them on on the partmesh segments, but they don't seem to match correctly.
I have tried exporting from blender as .fbx and .blend and importing to Unity without success.
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
in the inspector window is there already a shader for it? I get that sometimes when importing the mesh is black but in the inspector it has a shader but no texture so I drag and drop the texture into the shader
so it goes...
model> default> default_$$anonymous$$eshPart0 default_$$anonymous$$eshPart1 etc default_$$anonymous$$eshPart13
the default_$$anonymous$$eshParts all have default$$anonymous$$at and Shader [standard] in the inspector window. I have jpg numbers 1-15 and can drop them on the $$anonymous$$eshParts. Some parts look fine, but other clearly aren't
