Application has no sound until drivers are reinstalled
Hi, there! After launching our game we have discovered that some people have no sound whatsoever in the game. If they uninstall and reinstall the sound drivers, the sound in the game starts to work normally.
So far it seems to happen on Windows (different versions, Windows 7 and 10) with onboard sound cards from different motherboards but mostly Asus, at least as far we can tell (Asus P8P67 / AsusTek P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 / Asus Xonar / MSI Z97 GAMING 5 )
We are using Unity 4.7.1 with the FMOD plugin 1.07.01.
Has anyone experienced something similar or has any idea what the problem may be?
A little update: Some players have found out that if they go to their sound device's properties and set the sample rate to 24 bit 48000hz it also starts working. Any ideas?

It turned that that version of the FMOD plugin had a bug regarding the frequency of the software format. Upgrading it to 1.07.02 solved the issue.
