how to change from standard assets(mobile) to standrad assets?
i have only the standard assets(mobile) package in my unity 3 .. but i need to use the standard assets package .. how do i change .. pls help me am a beginner

You can just delete the mobile standard assets folder that you've imported into your project.
There isn't a single Standard Assets package in Unity any more. The default assets in the Standard Assets package got separated into smaller packages. You can reach them using the below direction.
(Your Unity install address)..\Unity\Editor\Standard Packages
On $$anonymous$$ac OS X 10.7.3, "Standard Packages" directory path for Unity 3.5 is "(UnityInstallationPath)/Unity/Standard Packages".

You can import the 'character controller.unity package' when creating a new project if you are doing the burgzerarcade hack'n' slash tutorials.
