Unity Engine 5.4 bug?

Hello there, so, there is a game on Steam made by Unity Engine, it worked perfectly for me, anyways, the developer of the game updated the Unity Engine to 5.4, after that, all i see is Pink Text and the game is unplayable, i have tried to talk with the developer and he told me that only Unity Developers could fix that bug, he only updated the Engine, so any help please?

I believe that would be defined as passing the buck. Look, you wouldn't replace the engine in someone else's car and when it fails tell them to go to the car manufacturer. The developer made the change and needs to support your issue. This doesn't belong on Unity Q&A, though i found the statement/question very curious.

I would contact the developer again to fix their bug... whatever that happens to be(shaders?).

This is primarily a community driven Q&A site, certainly Unity Tech isn't going to trouble shoot someone elses implementation/game even if they were to see this. Another example, i would not expect if i bought a Henkel knife that i would call Henkel to troubleshoot my knife/cutting skills.
