For some unknown reason it magically just started working again, no explanation, I did nothing special, it just decided to work again all by itself.
Webcam Image Causes Unity 5 to Crash!!
link textOK I am REALLY starting to regret my upgrading to unity 5, my scene that use the UI raw image to display webcam cause Unity 5 to Crash!! Has anyone else had this issue using the webcam live feed? How did you fix it? I have included a small sample project if someone more familiar with Unity 5 want to take a look and see if they can figure out why This causes Unity 5 to crash, it worked so very well in 4.6 but TOATLLY causes Unity 5 to crash WTF!
Discovered the original project that has the webcam on a GUI image also causes unity to just outright crash big time too.... constantly.... always.... do they not test this crap before releasing it!!!!
