fbx character bones rotate opposite direction in unity
I have a character model from turbosquid that is fbx. In unity when I rotate a bone in the inspector 30 degrees in x, it moves 30 degrees in -Z.
Can someone explain why this would be happening and how to correct it. Is it possible that having the author re-export the model from the original program after rotating it 90 degrees or flipping it upside down would work?
Thanks,

Most modelling programs work in a Z-up environment.
I know Blender has an option when exporting FBX to rotate it properly to a Y-up environment (Unity). But yeah, rotating the model will (should) fix it.
