VR controller collision with objects
Greetings developers,
I'm experementing with VR right now. So far I've made a teleportation movement, but what I noticed is that I can reach with my hand through the wall and teleport on the other side. Is there anyway I can collide my VR controller in game with objects to avoid this "feature"? :) Or maybe you could give me other ideas. Solution: just make teleportation area smaller than the room itself. Clunky solution, but it works.
Try using a raycast (or linecast) from your player's camera to the teleport coordinate, and prevent the teleport if its blocked. that way, even if they reach their hand though level geometry they wont be able to teleport
