Problem with Mecanim sprite animations on a fast paced game.
I am making a prototype for a beat them up design that I was working with and everything has gone smoothly until now... I made a character that has 2 skills (punch and kick). Using mecanim, I made the idle, walking and running animations, but I cant seem to make the punch and kick ones to work like I want them to.
What is the problem? Well, response time is too slow for a fast paced beat them up environment. For example, if I begin tapping the punch button very fast, it doesn't keep punching fast (sometimes it just plain ignores my inp), same with kicks and this isnt good because I want to make combos and stuff.
The skills (punch, kick) are put in a separate later from the idle, walk and run ones and the code sends a true bool value to a parameter that tells what skill to use and then sends a false bool value to end it. Maybe there is a combination of settings that can help me here, but I am not sure what to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
