Best approach to show hovered object
I have a case similar to hovering a card in hand while playing Hearthstone (card game). This will enlarge the card so you can see it better.
I was wondering which is the best approach to accomplish similar effect. Currently I have a dublicate of the object with stripped scripts, that is hidden and set to a layer ("hover"). Then I have a camera that is showing only the hover layer and I'm playing with disabling enabling the main and the hovered object to make the effect.
However, this solution does not seem quite right to me. (Having dublicate objects). Is there any better way to achieve this effect?
