How do I move along a single axis in the scene editor
I've been using this for quite a while and I get by but one thing I cannot seem to find is an easy way to move along one axis when scene building. Currently it would be great to be able to just move up vertically but without any other camera direction changing.
I know I can change to various "flat" views and these help but sometimes I just want to see if scenes would look better from a lower viewpoint. Have I missed the ability to do this or is there an Item on a wishlist somewhere I can vote for?

There already exist two ways to do this:
1) select the object you wish to move, then drag the axis arrow head that appears on the gizmo. This will adjust only that axis. (FYI: you can drag a square on that gizmo to drag around TWO axis).
2) select the object, then drag the X, Y, or Z position values in the object's transform inspector. This will adjust the value for single axis up or down as you move the mouse.
Let me know if you don't see what I mean, and I'll add some pics.

Thanks for that Glurth. I figured out what I needed about two seconds ago and I feel dumb for missing it to date.
When in the editor if you hold down the right mouse button and press either Q or E you go either down or up vertically.
