UNITY no longer detecting XBOX360 controller input,XBOX 360 controller no longer working with UNITY
Hello,
I have been working on a project for a few months and whenever issues have emerged I try to find the answer online first so I've never posted a question here. However, this issue I am experiencing is confusing me so much and I just cannot find a solution online.
The problem is that UNITY is no longer detecting any input from the 360 controller. About a month ago UNITY detected this fine and I was able to use the controller, but it no longer detects it. The controller is detected by Windows fine and works as I have tested it in control panel. The controller does not work in UNITY editor or even standalone build, just no input detection whatsoever. Is this due to some new UNITY update? I have no idea why UNITY suddenly stops recognizing the controller input. Previously when it was working UNITY would display a console message saying "360 controller detected" etc but this also no longer appears. I have no idea how go get this working again and any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
I have the same problem, before unity detected it well and now unity simply does not want to do it.
