textinspectoruser interfacenaming
Do you always need to name a UI element in the Inspector? (in the Name field next to the Enable Checkbox)
I'm a newbie to Unity. I am adding some text elements in this simple pause screen interface for my Pong clone, and there's something I'm pondering about.
Because these elements are not really to be changed by the game at all (and hence static), do I really need to change the name of those objects in the inspector and have the hierarchy reflect the changes when I create them?
I am thinking no because that creates a waste of time when building more complex user interfaces for bigger projects, but I want to see here.
