Different animator results over git
Hello! We are currently working on a project with an offsite team in another country. We are using git to sync up project files (which has worked fine for months), and all of a sudden, when changes are done in an animator on one end, it doesn't look the same on the other.
For instance, if I create a brand new animator controller here, add a couple of animation clips/states to it, and then push it to the other team, they get the controller, but only half of the states are hooked up to animation clips.
The same thing happens if they create one and send it to me.
Does anyone have a similar experience or any ideas about what can cause this?
Do you click on "File/Save project" after modifying the animator? It will put your changes into the save file of the animator. It is quite obvious, I know, but I have encountered many similar issues with colleagues that do not do this for assets and just want to be sure.
It is like writing a text in a text editor and sending the file without saving it before.
I'm almost certain, but I'll double check today again and get back to you, thanks!

What finally worked for us was copying animations from fbx-files and removing the actual fbxs from project. My guess is that unity didn't know whether to choose from the fbx or the anim.
hmm, Does not work for me since I use Unity's cloud build with GIT. Any other solution? Sure is annoying
