What is the best way to store and load around 4MB of JSON data?
I am moving from a custom 2D engine in Java to Unity. I have around 8MB total (4MB) files of JSON data that I load when the game loads and is persistent throughout the life of the game as I use the data a lot. The problem I was encountering in Java is memory issues where my game could not load in some devices. I am looking for a way load this data on unity. Can I insert the data in a C# script considering the file is almost 5MB and thousands of lines? What is the best way I can use this data while optimising my game to the max?
