Simulate Large ocean with player built models
I am building a sandbox game where the player can build boats. They can spawn in the boat and it will spawn in water, I want to have a huge (maybe infinite?) ocean. With most liquid/water physics it is either physics based and can barely simulate a tiny pool or a shader simulation where the water plane cuts through the boat and causes anything below the plane to be "flooded"
I am going for something like Stormworks: Build And Rescue a good video of the water see when he enters the bouy he is able to climb down the ladder and walk around under the surface but when outside leaving the boat he was swimming. The hard part is that all of the vehicles are player built.
