How to drag and drop sprites in order?

I am trying to drag and drop over 200 sprites on a public Sprite[] (array) component but I want them to be ordered from first to last. I've tried selecting them one by one with ctrl + click and the drop them inside the array but they still shuffle and I can't get them to the order I want.

I don't want to add them one by one because I'll have to do this for about another 2000 sprites.

Is there a way to drop the in the array in the right order?
