Upload Game For Beta

Hello everyone.

I want to make a quick question.(sorry, probably already out there). Is it possible to upload a game(unity, free) to my mobile without registering to googlePlay/iStore? (The idea is to do betaTests). If so, where can I read the steps/guide/article about it.

I don't know about IOS, but on Android, you can just use a USB cable to copy the APK over that gets built by Unity when Android is your build target. If you tick the option to allow installation of apps from other sources than the Play store in your phone's Security Settings, then you can use a file manager (like ASTRO) to trigger the APK on the phone and install it. Pretty easy.

So, in quick review.

1.Build for Android. 2.Transfer apk file to mobile 3.turn off security on mobile. 4.Play?

If so, thank you very much $$anonymous$$r!

Almost. :)

4: Trigger the installation procedure for the transferred AP$$anonymous$$. This is most easily done from a file manager app like the one I mentioned (called 'ASTRO').

5: Play.

On iOS, just connect your iDevice to the Mac, make sure Apple know that you're using it for development, create a provisioning profile, then you can run the app on the device.
