Change opacity from 0 to 255 when image is loaded

Okay, here is the situation. I am new to Unity Coding and I have been trying to figure this out for a while now. I have read quite a few posts trying to figure this out, but with no luck.

I have an animation of images that I would like to play after my splash screen is loaded and the play button is pushed. I have the button on the splash screen to find and turn on the Loading screen but it will not play the animation. I had to turn off the loading screen before the play button in Unity is pushed because it was in front of the splash screen. So the code that I have is the following to turn on the loading image but it will not play the animation when it is turned on. It only shows the still image.

 public void Play ()
  {
         SoundBase.Instance.GetComponent<AudioSource> ().PlayOneShot (SoundBase.Instance.click);
 
         transform.Find ("Loading").gameObject.SetActive (true);
 
         SceneManager.LoadScene ("game");
     }

Can you please help me to figure out how I can get the animation to play when the image is active?

I am so close this is one of the only things that is holding up the whole game from launch.
