Colouring a part of the plane
What i want to achieve is the Lerping effect kind of in the way the color starts with some squared area and than it enlarges like increase in the square area and meanwhile in the same time another random colour works (shows) on the smaller squared area .
Your question is hard to understand. It sounds like you either want to animate the UVs or the colours assigned to the mesh vertices. Perhaps a picture would help if you require a more detailed answer.
Ins$$anonymous$$d of trying to change the color on a plane or manipulate UVs, you could create a plane with the color you want and then lerp the scale of the plane.
@tanoshimi, @Jessespike, it goes like yes i want to change the colour assigned to vertices and i want to have a sort of tunnelling the colours effect, Like I Have a plane with a particular color and and than after few ms some squared portion of it shows a different color and after another few ms another color takes it place and prior color (the one that showed up fast ,should be underneath it with larger squared (coloured ) portion . like there are four square rings with increasing area upto the plane complete area , rings to be filled by four colours until the first color completely takes on the complete area .
