Triggering event at world space GUI using a raycast?
Hello all (: I'm somewhat new to Unity, and having some problems understanding how to do the following: I have a a Vive controller that casts a ray forward. I want to use the controller to point at a world space canvas with GUI objects, and simulate clicks on those elements.
I manage to get the intersection point between the ray and a plane directly behind the canvas, but I I cannot figure out how to send events to this canvas based on this position. Can someone please help (or point me in the direction of good alternative solutions to making a GUI that I can interact with using the Vive controllers should the normal GUI not be usable).
