Allowing users to add custom objects/models after build

Hi all I want to develop a project in which I would like the user to be able to add their own objects/assets from a specific folder e.g a model or png image. A press of a button would allow the user to choose their own created objects. Now this isn't much of a problem if using the editor ,however after you build the project I don't know if its possible to do this with the way unity compiles all the files and assets. So my question is whether it is actually possible to do and how to maybe go about it?

I think it's possible for images, text files, or anything you can transform into asset from knowing the bytes. I found this : https://community.unity.com/t5/Life-of-a-Unity-Game/FBX-$$anonymous$$esh-Importer-At-Runtime/td-p/1693510 On the web, it may help you

Thank you for the link and feedback ,yeah that's kind of thing I was looking for especially for things like importing custom models at run time.
