How do you extend a Custom Editor
I just created a new Editor script and I want it to extend another class called MyCustomEditor, which extends Editor. I'm using the same namespace and I'm using the same directives. It keeps saying, "The type or namespace name 'MyCustomEditor' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)." I'm using C# in Visual Studio.

The solution is after creating the new class in an Editor folder inside Visual Studio and making it extend Editor, go back to Unity and come back to Visual Studio. Visual Studio will move the file to the .Editor section in the Solution window. You can now extend any custom editor scripts.
