New user, Unity freezes when opening any sample scenes
I have a Macbook with 15 gb of ram. I have successfully installed Unity. But whenever I try to open any of the sample scenes Unity freezes (and freezes my computer!). I reinstalled and the same thing is happening. Unity just freezes and I get the spinning cursor of death. I did a Google search but don't see anything that seems to address this.
I installed the default version, 5.31
I have a MacBook Pro, Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013,Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
