Problem when i rotate a 2d object aroun Z-axis

Hi When i rotate a 2d object arounf Z-axis (in my case a rectangle) his shape became like in the image alt text

How big is the object on the screen? To me, that just looks like the pixels from the screen resolution, and there's no way around that.
