How to get the Vector/transform of the Vive lighthouses/sensors

Hello all,

Does anyone know if it is possible in Unity VR to get the position data associated with the senors or lighthouses used in the Vive setup?

I am trying to get a physical reference point for the sensors so I can calculate something in the real world and transpose it into the virtual world. So being able to get the position of the sensors would allow me to do this as in my setup they will always be the same place. This is for a demo not a game so the lighthouses will never change position.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Bob

I'll be able to check later tonight but a hack right now would be to position the controllers literally on the sensors to get the world position and store that...

Ya surprisingly enough that is what we decided to do. But since we were trying to transpose a physical metal grid into our virtual world we decided to just touch the controller to a couple of points on the metal grid and then move the camera rig to match the physical grid. So far we got the basics working.
