Metallic shader
Hello,
How can I do a shader who looks like this render (game screenshot) :
It's metallic (maybe aluminium material), and light reflective but the main color can still be viewed. I have tried some combinaisons with the Standard shader, but nothing can do this.
Thanks.
Have you tried setting specular values? I don't see why Standard shader wouldn't be able to do this.
Thanks for your reply, now I have tried, and I am near to the final result, but as you can see in the picture, the light isn't reflected on all the face, only a part (in the squares) ; but with the specular shader I can do only light reflection on the edges or on all the face.
And if I add an texture to the standard shader, the material is affected.
But that is the thing about Std Shader, it uses the light, so the side where it comes from is more lit that the opposite side. You can add more light around or use a texture that fakes the effect and a basic Diffuse shader.
Your image makes me think of some Candy Crush and I doubt they most likely use a Diffuse for that.
No, these are 3d models, I have verified by launching the game with wireframe rendering in DirectX. I have also the shaders in vsh/psh.
With a 3D Capturer, I have captured the geometry and the textures, but they are strange :
And I have also created a material :
Very beautiful ! Apparently, the texture assigned to the object is a reflection map. $$anonymous$$aybe this render can help ?
