Can no longer drag in images/sprites into and within my project folder
Hello,
I have windows 10, dual monitors, and am running unity 5.3.1
For whatever reason, since I downloaded windows 10 and set up the new monitor I am now unable to drag new jpg's into unity as assets- I can only import them. Any idea on why this might be?
Thanks!

Same problem for me, but im on Windows 8. I think this is something Unity has removed as a capability due to their new method of organizing imported files, its more fullproof using the importing method then drag/drop. You can right click any blank space in your Assets folder and click "Show In Explorer" which you can then drag n drop which might be easier, then when you go back into Unity/re-focus the window, Unity will automatically begin to import those new files.

I had this problem after updating to Unity 5.3.5, but there was an editor error in the console. I get quite a lot of editor errors after updating, by the way.
I just had to close and reopen Unity to be able to drag in resources again. At first I thought they removed that feature, but it still works. :)
Huh, unfortunately an open and close, a reinstall, and a reset of user preferences hasn't done a thing =/ I've kinda just accepted it as it is- not so bad once you adjust your workflow.
$$anonymous$$mh.. That is weird. It works fine for me unless I have any filter active, like "t: Texture".
