Question by UnityLord · Jun 17, 2016 at 09:21 PM · 3dnavmeshpathfindingnavigation

I want to create path finding solution like Visioglobe Indoor navigation map The Dubai Mall link to video--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziZA5ia4uEk

Hi Guys,

I'm familiar with unity but working on it after long time.

I want to create 3d navigation system for indoor floor plans like the one show in this video Visioglobe Indoor navigation map The Dubai Mall link to video--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziZA5ia4uEk

I'm trying A* but it navigating my user very close to walls and I thinking of using Nav mesh but i don't have much idea about it.

I want to know if someone has done something like this before They can give me some idea's for same. So i can work on them to achieve something like this.

After that I also want my user to give start and end point for navigation say A to B from say 0 to 3 floor where he would travel in 3d world (not actual may be cartoonish models like in video) to reach to destination using shortest path.

What can be done? Any possible and good solution available or approaches.? i would appreciate any kind of help.
