fps proper shooting and animations?
currently in my fps game when the user presses the "fire1" button i play a shoot animation which is problematic because that means the animation has to be done playing before the user can shoot again...
so for example if the user double clicks really quick the animation is only plays once instead of twice?
how do i go about fixing this? do i just have to make the shoot animation incredibly fast?
how do other games like counterstrike do this? it seems that no matter how quick you click in counterstrike the animation always plays ?
and if i only press once, a really long shoot animation plays?
