Player Count of a Multiplayer Game
Hello everyone.. I'm searching about the question,which i am asking now but couldn't find any answers for it..
We are trying to make a multiplayer game, which matches the online players with eachothers at start of the game.
When the game is in the market, there will be no players at the beginning. And the people who buy the game will not be able to play the game because of the low player count at the beginning.
What i want to ask is, how the companies solve this problem, when they publish the game. Do they hire some group of people to stay online in the game for a specific time until there are enough players to run the circle ?

Generally, rely on good marketing to get a strong day-one response. If only 1 person is playing your game when you release it, it's already too late.
