Camera movement Google VR gazePointer

Hi,
for my VR Project my Teammates and I are using the Google VR SDK. It works fine and all but moves only along the Z-axys via GazePointer which is very unfortunate, as we need the player to move into all directions.
Is there a way to change it? Or did we just make a mistake while loading the SDK into our project?
'm glad if someone knows the answer to it and might even have a solution.
