importing standard assets fails
When ever I start a new project with the standard assets option selected; a get a whole bunch of errors like this
Moving File Failed Moving: Temp/UnityTemp/***** to library /failedAssetImports.txt failed where the x's are a bunch of numbers and letters.
Whats going on here?

It sounds like Unity doesn't have the standard assets in the expected location (I doubt it would be trying to look for them in temp tho). Make sure you have a Standard Packages folder in the same place as your Unity app and that it contains the Standard Assets.unityPackage file. If that isn't the case, download the app again.

run as an administrator on windows or the mac alternative, and it should come up with an alert box with that message in and 2 buttons. Just hit enter and it will work fine. I get this problem sometimes too.
