Game object not falling
I'm trying to make this object fall onto the ground object but it stays stuck in the air without moving and I'm not sure why.
There's nothing in the screenshot that would suggest it's not falling. Either the gravity in physics 2D settings is 0, a script is setting the rigidbody's y value or calling sleep()
or it's already landed on something.

The box collider on the ground object might be too large for the ground sprite, making it look like you are floating above the ground, when you are infact hitting the ground object. Try rescaling the ground objects box collider. @Stylingirl102
What I mean is that it stays there in it's current position. It doesn't float above the ground, it just doesn't move at all when played.
If that's the case it could be a physics glitch where the rigidbody is either being wrongly set to sleep on awake or being treated like a static object in which case a bug needs to be reported. If you create a new empty gameobject and add the components does the same thing happen?
