VR apps developed with Unity are incompatible with samsung galaxy s6/s7/s8
Will this issue ever be fixed, now that the Google repository has been closed? https://github.com/googlevr/gvr-unity-sdk/issues/421
I can play dozen of VR apps on my S7, but most ones developed with unity do not work, due to this bug, which I cannot understand if is from Google, Samsung or Unity.
Changing resolution and zoom of the phone does not have any effect on how Unity renders the VR screen: in FHD ow WQHD I see exactly same thing.
