Delta Updates Instead of Re-Download
Hello,
I'm just wondering if there's anyway to avoid re-downloading an entire Unity app from the App Store when you (the developer) has only made slight changes for an update?
I did a search, and I did find some posts about Unity not supporting delta updates, but these posts were about 3 years ago. Just wondering if someone could shred some light on it?
Most app on the Apples app store are about 30Mb, but when an update comes out, its only about 1-2Mbs - because its using a delta upgrade, correct? Unity on the other hand, has to re-download the entire app, which could be huge!
Thanks, Ollie
Any news? We are interested in this too. link to the apples document: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/qa/qa1779/_index.html

Embedding JavaScript Engine https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#!/content/25497
how is this a solution to the problem? this is for converting c#->js
Because it's not possible to download C# script. But EC$$anonymous$$A JavaScript is possible to download from internet, because it's interpretive execution.
