Application not installed. Upgrade Unity3d and apk update trouble
Hi! I think someone could have similar trouble, so:
I had a project which I am worked on with Unity 2018.1.0f2. I published that project. And all was pretty cool. But now I updated unity version to 2018.2.7.f1 and that was a trouble(I think so).
I just try to build my apk, and it builds. If I try to install it over installed version, message shows me text "Application is not installed.". Device: Samsung A7 When I try to do the same on Samsung J7,device shows next tet "Application is not installed. Package with this name already exists".
NOTES: 1) I updated both version and bundle version.
So, is it come to somebody except me?
I know what I would do in such a situation. Uninstall the app that's already installed or use
adb install -r <yourApp>.apk
But it is not that users of application would do. Do you understand what I mean? It breaks normal way of update.
