How to Create wifi AP (Access Point) on Android Phone?

Hi Guys, i want to make an offline multiplayer game over LAN But without the need of Wifi Router,So each mobile phone (Both running android) could create a hotspot and the other device can connect to it

PS:I can do this using android SDK Wifi maneger , so should i write a java plugin ?
