Switch to maximized window at runtime
My game is full screen by default except for one scene that I want it to be in maximized windowed mode.
I can set Screen.fullScreen = false;
but the problem with that is the bottom portion of the game is hidden behind the windows taskbar and any buttons on that portion are unreachable.
I tried setting Resizeable Window on in the player settings and while the user can then click on the maximize button (The middle button next to the X button) and have the game as I want it, the user will also be able to resize the window and completely mess up the UI.
I also tried calling Screen.fullScreenMode = FullScreenMode.MaximizedWindow;
when the desired scene launches but for some reason, the game will stay in full screen. I've read that there is a bug regarding FullScreenMode.MaximizedWindow
but according to Unity it has been fixed although I am using Unity 2018.4.19f
Another user seems to be facing the same issue here
Any ideas of how I can set the game to Maximized Window at runtime?
