Limit How Far an Object is Pushed After a Collision
I have it set up in my game that when the player character collides with a projectile fired at it, it is pushed backwards by the force of the projectile. But this happens to a greater effect than I want, pushing the player character back very far. How can I control how far the player character is pushed after a projectile collides with it? It is a matter of adjusting how much force is applied?
