Skybox lighting not working and causing weird issues
This has been happening for months but I've come to the point where I am unable to get around it. Lighting on my terrain with skyboxes is always either weirdly dark or insanely bright and directional lights are just making it much brighter, also making shadows crazy difficult to make out as they are tiny or nonexistent. I've tried 8 different night&day systems, lighting systems, cloud systems, and more. None have produced even remotely OK looking results, some even ruining my scene to the point where I have to rollback using GitKraken to where it was before I started working for the day. Just adding Azure Sky and removing it left this on my scene: As you can see, the trees are an ugly blueish-green and no regeneration or lighting changes have fixed it. I don't understand what is causing this and forums are no help. My beautiful forest became disgusting no matter when I discarded changes and tried to revert to before I added anything.. I consulted my friend about this and we tried using more assets and nothing seemed to work, even using different projects, and we could not tell why my lighting was messing up so much. Trying to add a normal directional light results in this. Any tips or insight would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what is causing all this mess. I'm trying to create a cinematic cutscene for my forest map in my game, and the lighting is bland with just a directional light, so a volumetric lighting system with god rays through the trees would result in a beautiful cinematic.
