Scene corrupted - enpty hierarchy
Help! My hard drive got knocked out as I was working. Unity crashed. When I started it up again, the scene was empty. The scene file is still 1MB, so I know it has info in it, but nothing I do seems to work.
It's about 6 hours of work, and usually I'd just grin and bear it, but we have a demo in the morning, and I don't have time to redo all that work!
Does anyone know how to rescue a corrupted Scene file?
Thanks, Adam
Removed the misspelled tag "emtpy". I did not add the correct "empty" tag back, since it isn't used in any other question and the 3 other tags summarize the question well enough.
You say that nothing you do seems to work. Can you write about what have you tried already? From your description, I would say that there's no way to recover your scene if you don't have an Asset Server setup or any other backup. You say that your hard drive got knocked out. That means that the scene corruption was probably not caused by Unity as such. You might still try to send a crash report to Unity, though I doubt they will be able to get back to you in just a few hours.
