UI button works fine in the unity editor but when I build it it doesn't do any function.
I have a VR project. I am making a simple interface which consists of an input field
, a toggle option
and a Button
. All three elements work as expected in the unity editor. But when I build my project, the input field and toggle still work properly (for example I can properly store what the user has entered in the input field and use it later) but when I click on my button it doesn't do anything.
I am using the On Click() event in the Button
component. For the game object of this component I have attached a game object that has the script and I have selected the function I need and it's in runtime only mode.
Also in play mode in the editor when my mouse cursor goes on the button, the EventSystem
shows the button's text in the PointerEnter
field, not the Button itself. Maybe that's why nothing happens when I click on it in build?
By the way I am using Vive SRanipal sdk and the HTC Vive pro eye VR headset.
