How to use PluginImporter?
one usually uses any of the type specific importers in a class derived from AssetPostprocessor, on one of its OnPre/PostProcess methods.
where and how do I use the PluginImporter? Since Unity introduced not-folder-specific plugins, some of them got imported in our project and were not set to the correct target platform by default
