confused about game logic of what i am wanting to make
I am a beginner going through some really basic tutorial.
So far I only learn making simple games rely on logic like checking colliding objects.
However my final aim is to create a educational demo of 3D printing, i put the overall detail as following and I am not sure if it is viable to create this through unity:
1. user control an object above (a nozzle)
2. the nozzle will "print" or "dispense" strings of mostly continuous smoothie-like/ snake-like / gel-like concrete material
3. the process alike what you did when squeezing soft serve ice cream
4. player is to build up layers of "cream" on top over one another, the material will have the property of certain "stickiness" and "softness"
5. parts of material that were "printed" earlier will get cooler over time and it has to be indicated perhaps through color changes(which resulting in the printed material showing gradient of color), and so does the "softness" of the material, the part which is printed eariler will be hardened compared to the part near the nozzle
above is an image that might help explain a bit what i was trying to create, but my demo is supposed to be done in 3D of course.
I am really new to this and i am not sure if it is worth diving into unity creating this, and I am still struggling to figure out the right logic i should be looking at.
Is this something heavily particle related? I don't even know how to figure out the part how to "print"/"spawn" a smoothie concrete object in which the property of parts of it will change over time(which is an essential part of this demo).
