Unity Answers - Cant Login via GoogleMail
Hello,
Ever since unity have done this 'upgrade' to this site, I cant login via my googlemail access. Thats how I always used to login, by google. Now, everytime I login with my google mail and password, I'm given an account I've never seen before (awdawdawd), and I have no rep??
You could have read the mail they sent at least one week before they switched, telling you to update your login info.
You could also have read the statement plainly visible on the right of every Unity Answers page stating "On 02 July 2012 we launched the Unity Developer Network (UDN). If you are having problems logging into Answers, or clai$$anonymous$$g your Answers account, please drop the support $$anonymous$$m a line and they will help."
That's because the system has changed slighty- your answers account, and if you had them, your forum and feedback accounts have been merged. There are many people who have had odd name changes too.
Also, in a video posted by Unity to their blog, they mentioned that you can't log in using a google account anymore. So you'll have to say bye to that.
It may be wise to contact Unity support, and see what they can do to help you.
Yeah, drop the support team an email and we'll help you out. Let us know your UDN user name, and the user name you have on the forum and Answers. If you seem to have lost your old accounts, give us the links to those accounts.
