Unity 5 Flashlight
Okay so, i've used a spotlight and the light never showed up, i googled it, watched over 10 videos about how to make it, and i've done some of them and it never worked for me, can someone tell me what im doing wrong and how i can make the actual flashlight light, (horror game type of thing, ya know)
Should be as easy as adding the light to the scene.
Not sure why it's not working here, you didn't provide any details. Did you change any settings? lighting, quality, project settings, culling layers, baked lightmaps? Does this happen in a newly created project?
Are you placing the spotlight inside of an object? Does the spotlight's range need to be increased?
Are you looking at this from the Editor's scene view or game mode? Or are you testing this in builds?
@Jessespike okay, im fairly new to this, i created my main character and everytime i make a spotlight, i move it to my character, and change the rotation and everything like that so its facing the way he's facing, and no light shows up, but when i watch videos, all people do is click on spotlight and theres automatically a light for them so i think you understand how frustrated i am XD lol
